It's also a great workout for your upper body and your biceps! To begin, stand next to the pole and place the closest arm to the pole above your head, holding on to the pole. Place your outside arm across your body, placing your hand onto the pole with your fingers facing towards the ceiling."
OPPOSITE SIDE CLIMB
"This month Sarah shows us her versatility with another awesome silks lesson. The Opposite Side Climb is an advanced beginner to intermediate inversion climb. It allows you to build strength and confidence in your inversions as well as solidify your knowledge of same vs opposite side. It also offers many options for stylisation, but those come later. As you learn, you may feel like it's a lot of work so switch to a regular or French climb, or simply climb on down, when you feel like it. You'll greatly improve your core and bicep strength."
