As a crafty person since childhood, I have always found beauty in everything around me. I've constantly seen possibilities everywhere I look and am always coming up with different ways to create. When I first came across epoxy resin I was immediately intrigued by the infinite applications available for it. I have also always been a research driven person so I spent about a year just learning from everyone I could about the material, the complexities of it, the thousands of different ways it can be used, the multitude of issues that can pop up and anything else I could learn about it.
The moment I realized there wasn't a magazine focused on this work I realized that it truly deserved one and that I was in the position to create it. This art form is absolutely mezmerizing and has captured the hearts and skill of hundreds of thousands of people around the world. My new goal in life became showcasing it in the form of a magazine so that the information people are gaining about this material can be readily available to others seeking to learn, as well as sharing the talent people have to others who may not ever see them without this magazine.
I have found in this craft a community of people who are hard working, willing to share with others, amazingly talented and I am very proud to be a part of it.
