About Love U

Who We Are

Love U Magazine is a quarterly magazine that features body-positive fashion, lifestyle, self-love and women's empowerment topics. We are made up of a team of international contributing writers & photographers who are passionate about creating a magazine that inspires and uplifts its readers, which is not often associated with traditional industry norms.

What We Believe

We believe that ALL women are beautiful and beautifully made! We want to empower and encourage women to embrace their beauty and embrace the communities and brands that acknowledge and celebrate them --regardless of size, shape, or ethnicity. We launched in 2015, embracing body-positivity since our inception because we are passionate about uplifting everyday women and giving them a voice.

You'll often see us using the hashtags #UnitedUnderFashion or #AllShapesAllSizesAllLove. That's because we believe that size isn't an indication of style, so we encourage women of all body types to unite under their love of fashion and to accept one another. And most importantly, to love yourself and love the skin that you are in.

Our Mission

Our mission is to disrupt the industry by blurring the lines between magazines that only publish straight-size models and magazines that only publish plus-size models. We are also moving beyond traditional print distribution as our publication is primarily delivered digitally via a mobile app or via the web in an online viewer.
